This is a neat little security/baby cam/ pet cam for your home! I knew going in that this was a 720p .3MP cam. This is not the highest or best looking resolution but it is exactly as advertised and it does look good. I use the “2CU” app on my samsung galaxy s5 phone to control the camera.
The cam was really easy to connect to wifi and the app is easy to use after you register. The app produced a QR code that the camera needed to see. After the cam picked up the code it popped right up in the app! The night vision and the alarm work really good!
The overall quality of the camera feels sturdier than the other similar cams that I own. It comes with everything you need to get the camera up and running. If you don’t want to connect over WiFi you can connect via Ethernet cable but you will need to supply your own. I like the feature that allows me to view my camera from my phone and enable notifications if the cam sees movement.
The camera comes with a mini disk but I am not sure what it is for. My laptops, and most new laptops, do not have disk drives. There was also no manual included so if you haven’t set up a camera before it may be difficult. I would recommend this as an indoor camera and to anyone who wants to keep an eye on kids or pets during the day (or night!). It is really nice to be able to check in when I am away.
